The Approach: PRI: Practice, Reflect, Improve
I believe that embracing diversity in people and their thinking makes us smarter, kinder, and more compassionate humans. With explicit practice and intentional reflection, we can improve our work and ultimately help humans grow in our communities. I place great value on promoting curiosity and inquiry. I believe in fostering strong partnerships with clients and working towards transformational change. Engaging in a high-ask, low-tell model of coaching allows the coachee to develop essential skills in leadership. I strive to embrace multiple viewpoints and listen actively with an open heart and open mind to all constituencies while asking open-ended questions, and when consulting adding my knowledge, skills, and expertise in the field of education to help schools reach their goals. Just as with my students, I strive to make sure that in each partnership, the client will see and be seen, hear and be heard, and know and be known.
The Role of The Coach
Coaching is a partnership between the coach and the client in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires the client to maximize personal and professional potential. It is designed to facilitate the creation/development of personal, professional, or business goals and to develop and carry out a strategy for achieving those goals. The role of the coach is to help the client stay true to their goals, objectives, and commitments. A coach is a catalyst. A coach does not develop people, a coach equips people to develop themselves. Are you ready to partner with me, build your skills, and grow?
Who Is My Client?
I work with mid-level professionals who have room to grow in their careers. Are you experiencing transition and facing growth opportunities? Are you looking for transformational change in developing your leadership skills as you manage your team or manage up to your boss?
