About PRI
Priyanthi Alahendra is a certified executive coach, consultant, and founder of PRI Consulting. With over 26 years of experience in four independent schools, she demonstrates curricular leadership, commitment to professional growth and development, innovative teaching, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. She served in various leadership roles, from redesigning and coordinating the teacher training programs at Princeton Day School and Marin Country Day School to serving on the senior administrative team at The Bush School. She believes in fostering partnerships by developing strong relationships.
As a South Asian immigrant and person of color, Priyanthi understands the importance of supporting leaders of color in all institutions. She knows that people will thrive in their environment when they feel seen, heard, and known.
She strives to approach her work as an executive coach and a consultant with an open heart and mind by embracing multiple viewpoints and listening actively to clients. Priyanthi received her executive coaching training and certification from the Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute.
She earned her B.A. from Skidmore College and her M.A. in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and is currently coaching executives and leaders and consulting with schools. Priyanthi is privileged to serve on the Presidio Hill School board as a community trustee and enjoys volunteer tutoring with Reading Partners in San Francisco. She lives in the Bay Area with her husband and two energetic pups and loves it when her two adult children visit.
